Donate to Time Of Your Life Fundraiser

The Time Of Your Life Committee is asking for donated bottles of fine wine to become part of 2010’s Instant Wine Cellar— the Instant Wine Cellar will be auctioned off at the Second Annual Time of Your Life on the night of November 19th at Chicago’s fabulous Mart Plaza.

Your generosity this year will go a long way in helping to make this important St. Teresa of Avila Fundraiser even better than last year.

Last year’s Instant Wine Cellar was a big hit — this year we’re upping the ante.

With each bottle of wine you donate to this year’s wine cellar, you will receive one raffle ticket and a chance to win more than $200 in gift certificates to local restaurants.

On Sunday October 31st we will have a drawing for the winner of the gift certificates.

Starting in August, Time Of Your Life Committee Members will be at each Mass to collect the bottles and award the raffle tickets. The more bottles you donate the better chance you have to win.

Other ways to donate:

We need gift cards and certificates from restaurants that you either frequent or are willing to solicit. This includes Coffee shops, delis, cafes, bakeries and ice cream parlors.
Might you know an individual or individuals that have access to theater, sporting, or concert tickets that could be donated. If you were previously involved in a fund raising event you just might remember who your contact person was and call them again.
Might you have access to a vendor or store that could provide an item for the silent auction? Spa treatments are always well received in the bidding process.
Do you have miles that you could donate?
Might you know of a hotel or resort that would donate a week-end of accommodations that would be part of a package?

In order to address growing parish needs and to help us progress towards where we hope our Parish will be in five or ten years, St Teresa of Avila has commissioned Domenella Architects to perform facilities planning.

What should our St. Teresa of Avila parish facilities be like in 5, 10, or 15 years?

Our parish buildings are the foundation through which we will serve as peacemakers to the world, evangelizing Christ’s love to all people regardless of religious beliefs.

Parish Leadership have initiated plans to envision the future of our parish facilities in support of our new Mission and Vision.

Volunteers help prepare and serve our Loaves and Fish dinners to homeless persons and senior citizens. Setup begins at 3:30 p.m. The dinners are provided in the Parish Center. Contact the parish office for more details.
