2nd Listening Session, 10/8

Fr. Frank has agreed to hold a second listening session to allow more parishioners to bring forward their thoughts and concerns.

20 people joined us for our first listening session, and shared their frustrations and concerns regarding the abuse crisis.  We discussed what type of response we would like to see from our leaders, and what steps we can take to express our opinions to those in positions of power.  If you missed the first session, we invite you to this second opportunity to talk with others and be heard.

Monday, October 8th at 7:00pm
St. Teresa of Avila Parish Center
1950 N Kenmore Ave.

The objectives of this evening are:

1) to prepare a community-based response to Church leaders

2) to identify lay-leaders who may be interested in collaborating with other parish lay-leaders to demand accountability from church authority

Fr. Frank has written and spoken openly about the abuse crisis. You can read his blog posts here, listen to his homily on Soundcloud, or watch his homily on Facebook.
